01Who we are

For anything related to your data, write to privacy@theonyx.be. We reply within five working days.
02What we collect
When you reserve, we collect your name, email address, phone number, party size, the date and time of your booking, and anything you tell us about dietary requirements or the occasion.
When you subscribe to our letters, we keep your email address. When you buy from the shop or a gift card, we keep the billing and delivery details needed to fulfil the order.
03Why we use it
To hold your table, confirm it, and contact you if something changes. To prepare for allergies and dietary needs. To send letters you asked for. To meet our accounting obligations.
We never sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
04Dietary and health information
Allergies and intolerances can count as health data. We only use them to prepare your meal safely, share them only with the kitchen team on the day, and delete them ninety days after your visit unless you ask us to remember them.
06How long we keep it
Reservation details: two years after your last visit. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Orders and invoices: seven years, as Belgian tax law requires.
08Your rights
You may ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels.
